Happy New Year everyone! I think this might be a first, doing a show on New Years Eve or morning I should say. What a year it’s been. I realize that with the economy tanking the way it is many of you are hurting right now. Part of my 2009 show goals including bringing a couple of stories a week on how you and your family can save some money each week. It’s good to be back after a week off from the show. It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas as the US get’s hit with some pretty bad weather, ice storms, snow and rain. It’s not even winter yet!  We’ve got a good show for you today and I’ve got lots of energy.  As we head into the last weekend before the holiday try not to get bogged down with holiday humbug. Take a moment and give thanks for all that you have no matter how little it might be. Enjoy the holidays with some good food, drink and family. 

No show next week as it’s Christmas Eve but we will be back on the following week. The last day of the year! We’ll give away our last prize pack giveaway for 2008 which is going to be a Flip Video Recorder. Have a nice holiday everyone.

No show today. I started getting sick last week and thought that I was getting better. When the alarm clock went off this morning, both my mind and body were telling me to stay in bed under the warm covers. I’ll be back next week pending high doses of vitamin C and rest.

Special thanks to everyone who participated in the EESF Holiday Auction. It was really nice to see all the cool donated items as well as people bidding on them. The Xbox 360 appeared to be the hot item of the auction. Again thanks for everyone who helped make that event a success.

It was also nice to see those of you who attended the CEA Christmas Party last week, especially those of you who came in from out of town. These end of the year parties are always a favorite of mine.  Support your local elevator association if you’ve got one in your area. They are excellent opportunities to network and stay on top of what’s happening in the local elevator industry.
