I’m a bit aggravated with the goofs over at the Gothamist regarding an article they wrote about Elevator Escalator Safety Week and the Safety Rider Progam. What’s even worse is the commentary from the readers of the story. I’m asking that we all chime in and post our own comments regarding why it’s important to promote elevator and escalator safety and why there’s a need for it. Perhaps a simple search for elevator/escalator accidents online might have turned this article into one with a little more depth and understanding why this kind of information needs to be shared.
