9/11 and elevators

Post: September 7th, 2011: ERS-2011-09-07 #268 Show Notes

Click Here to download ERS-2011-09-07 #268 As we head into the weekend please take a moment on Sunday September 11th, to remember those who were killed during the worst terrorist attack on US soil, a few of which were elevator mechanics trying to help those in the buildings. All of us will never forget that day as we watched in horror the footage those two planes hitting the building. Fly your US flags, if you don’t have one, go get one. On a more upbeat note I’m getting excited for the NAEC convention next week and am looking forward to seeing many of you during the round table and on the show floor. Shorter show today as there weren’t a ton of news articles online but a few that were interesting to say the least. I’ve also got the caption contest captions available in the comments section of the site and am asking you to vote via e-mail for the one you like the best. I had ever intention on getting up last week but just fell short on time.  For those of you traveling to New Orleans next week have safe travels.  Download the Apple App the NAEC has created. Looks like a pretty cool little tool.
