I was in awe watching fire that started in a Shanghai high-rise apartment building on Monday.  It’s difficult to comprehend that with China’s booming economy this kind of fire could have turned into the inferno that it did. While I’m not up to what building codes China is under, I would tend to believe that if this was a building with sprinklers it would not have turned as tragic as it did. It will be interesting to see how the Chinese Government reports its findings after the investigation.  I hope that on a broader scope steps are taken to ensure building fires don't turn into raging inferno's similar to this one. One thing is for sure, the fate of the welders, if found responsible, will most likely be death.  Anyone want to move to China?

Next week is our prize pack giveaway. I've got a copy of NOVA's Trapped in an Elevator I'll be giving away along with some great goodies from some great companies.
