I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. For me it was really nice but busy.  By the time Monday rolled around I was pretty tired and look forward to this weekend for a little rest. I was hoping there wouldn’t be a whole lot to cover on today’s show but unfortunately there were more stories to cover that were important enough to share so here we are.

Hard to believe it’s the end of the month and this weekend is the Fourth of July! Wow does time fly when you’re having fun. I’m not sure about you but I’m looking forward to a three day weekend. For those of you headed out on vacation enjoy yourselves. On the program today there are some good articles, one including GM of the Metro testifies at a congressional hearing regarding safety and also important is the grand opening of the Brick and Mortar Elevator Museum in New York. Today also is the Chicago Cruise benefiting the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation and I promised we’d have good weather and good weather we will have. Look forward to seeing many of you tonight on the boat cruise!  Oh yea, and one more thing, we’re giving away a $100 Visa Gift Card and some other cool goodies on the program today.

Another week filled with elevator news articles! I was secretly hoping for a quieter week but oh well.
