I’m always amazed at the stories and information that is shared in a very open manor. I think that this is how our entire industry should work. I’m lucky enough to be part of Elevator U and truly enjoy those who not only support the organization but those who work behind the scenes. Tonight is the Chicago Cruise benefiting the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation and while the weather has not looked good the last two days I’m crossing my fingers that the rain will stay away. I can’t wait to see those of you who are attending the event. It is by the way sold out which is a first for the event which means we will look for a new, bigger boat next year. The last show of the month and our prize pack giveaway! Instead of giving away $100 I’m actually going to give away a Coffee Gift pack from Backroads Coffee in Hayward Wisconsin. I headed up there this weekend for a short get away with my oldest two boys and we had a great time. As those of us here in the United States celebrate the Fourth of July and a nice three-day weekend I suspect that many of you are headed out on the road and on vacation enjoy yourself.
We’ve got a fun show today, one of my million dollar ideas is actually came to light today as there’s a story on a solar-powered elevator designed in London.
