It’s hard to believe we’re a couple of days from being half way through July. Make sure you take time for your family and plan a vacation if you’re able to. Even weekend getaways count! Before you know it summer will be gone and we’ll all be asking “Where did it go?”  We’ve got a good show today without all the accidents which was a nice change of pace.  As always, thanks for listening to the show everyone and be safe out there.

Click Here to download ERS-2010-04-21 #201 A shorter show today as we roll over into show 201. There were quite a few people jibber jabbering about elevators but not a whole lot of substance. Thanks to everyone who sent in e-mails with congrats on the show 200. It was nice to hear from you all. We’ve got a couple of scary escalator accident articles on the show today. One that could have ended tragically as a little boy was carried up the outside handrail. Escalators are not toys nor are they pieces of playground equipment. It was good that someone was close by and caught him as he fell. The other had a little girl, 3, holding on to the handrail and not letting go. Here hand was pulled into the handrail entry point. These two accidents are two GREAT reasons to support the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation.  Visit www.eesf.org today!
