It sure does feel like summer here in Chicago with temps in the 90’s and the heat index hovering around 100. I guess it was just a matter of time, six months or so, before we would see temperatures resemble those closer to summer. So now as we shift our complaining from it being to cold to this hot humid heat I realize that most of the
have seen temperatures much higher than what we’re sitting in right now so excuse my rant. I did realize after assisting with some calls at work how heat can really effect elevator equipment. It might be a good idea to share some of your experiences with how heat can effect equipment so that when their elevator starts to have issues because of it you can provide some valuable input on the topic.
