Elevator Radio Show - Video/Audio Show #369 - Week 07/16/14

Click Here to download ERS-2014-07-16 #369 ersmosNice short show today. I believe there are quite a few media people on vacation which I’m good with. I keep saying the day there’s no shock or bad news regarding vertical transportation equipment is the day I look forward because it means we’re all doing our jobs and people are acting like idiots. Next week I should be up with my family in the Northwoods of Wisconsin enjoying a short vacation with them. I’m not sure what day I’m planning on leaving yet so there may or may not be a show. If news content is down and I leave on Wednesday I’ll most likely pass on it. We’ll see. Remember, summer is cruising along at speed of 600 mph and at an altitude of 30,000 feet so enjoy it before it’s gone.

Click Here to download ERS-2013-03-13 #327 ghdWhat I thought was going to be a shorter show today ended up having more articles than I realized. I also spent a good hour going through all my e-mails and am finally caught up with them all. To my terror and surprise there were e-mails that were somehow pushed into my spam filter from last year that I just found. Man, I swear computers are going to take over the world someday….wait, they already have. So for those of you patiently waiting for a response from me I’m sorry, you’ll get one shortly. The weather report from Chicago is cold with a touch of snow. January weather in March, love it. Anyone know where that ground hog lives that predicted when Spring would come? I’ve got some words for him.

Post: September 28th, 2011: ERS-2011-09-28 #270 Show Notes

Click Here to download ERS-2011-09-28 #270 As we head into this week of rain here in the Chicagoland it’s appropriate given the recent news of the death of one of our industry mechanics. In a horrific shaft fall that occurred last Friday in New York it is a reminder of just how dangerous the work we do is each day. That goes for all of us who work in the industry. Make safety a priority each and every day. Today is the last show of the month which means we’re giving away a prize pack giveaway and next week we will be announcing the winner of our caption contest.  I appreciate everyone tuning in today and checking out the show as well as all the support you’ve shared with me. Headed  into year six I feel as if it’s only the beginning of my adventure.

Special thanks to the companies who have donated goodies to the prize pack giveaway!
